Celebrating our 14th Year as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies
We’re pleased to share that for the 14th consecutive year, St. Joseph Communications has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. This marks our 8th year as a Platinum Club Member, the program’s highest honour.
From expanding our content marketing offerings to acquiring direct marketing firm Bassett Direct, in 2016 St. Joseph continued to adapt, shift and evolve to transform how brands and retailers are able to engage with their consumers. Check out a few of our 2016 highlights:
We celebrated our 60-year evolution of helping brands succeed in the marketplace.
We released our newest “Print in a Digital World” Trend Report.
We collaborated with brands in unique ways. In these clips, St. Joseph’s FASHION Magazine partnered with Joe Fresh for a unique branded integration spanning print and digital, and St. Joseph’s Toronto Life and Kijiji partnered with YouTube personality Jus Reign for an episodic web series entitled Commutes with Reign.
We created exciting new content for brands, like this branded video promoting the Hyundai SUPERSTRUCTURE™, video series for Jenn-Air Canada and multi-platform campaign for Sears’ ‘Outdoor’ Style magalogue featuring Debbie Travis.
We launched our Cup of Jo interview series to help our customers, their brands and the industry at large with insights and foresights to help guide and empower success.
We extended the reach of our magazine brands through sold-out events such as Toronto Life‘s Best New Restaurants 2016.
All of this year’s Best Managed Companies winners were announced on canadianbusiness.com on March 9, 2017 and in the April issue of Macleans magazine.
Sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, National Post, Queen’s School of Business and MacKay CEO Forums, the Best Managed award recognizes Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $10 million for sustained growth, financial performance, management practices and the efforts of the entire organization.
First named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies in 2003, St. Joseph Communications achieved Platinum Status in 2009. Platinum recognizes companies that have achieved Best Managed status for a minimum of six consecutive years and members must requalify each year.
This year’s winners will be celebrated at Canada’s Best Managed Companies symposium and gala on April 19, 2017.
