Two Pearl Awards go to St. Joseph’s Media Group for Excellence in Content Marketing
We’re thrilled to share that the Content Council presented St. Joseph’s Media Group with two Pearl Awards at last week’s awards night held at Essex House in New York City. A global competition celebrating excellence in content marketing amongst agencies and brand marketers, this year’s program received entries from a record 87 companies from around the world.
St. Joseph’s work for the Food Institute of the University of Guelph earned the Gold in the Education category. Collaborating with the university to create and build a content strategy across digital and social platforms to raise awareness for the school’s Food Institute, we designed a bold new website design. Our team also created a broad array of new content including stories, graphics, videos and podcasts.
In the Fashion and Beauty industry category, St. Joseph’s Media Group won the Silver for our Toronto Life “Colourful Wisdom” campaign for Sephora. In a distinct content piece called the “The Look,” executed in print and video form, we invited several of the year’s Best Dressed Women to share their “colourful wisdom” on style, aging and “the power of lipstick.” The campaign appeared in 35,000 print editions Toronto Life’s annual Stylebook, in a series of custom videos on Torontolife.com, and as part of the #colourfulwisdom social media campaign.
We’re proud to have our work recognized as amongst the best in content marketing by what is the longest running content marketing program in the United States. Our work for Pandora (Most Innovative Content Solution) and Away magazine for Toronto Pearson International Airport (Industry Specific, Travel), were also honoured with nominations.
