Celebrating St. Joseph’s Day
March 19 is St. Joseph’s Day, which means our associates and our valued customers are enjoying zeppoli – the traditional and tasty St. Joseph’s Day treat.
Zeppoli’s association with St. Joseph’s Day dates back to the Middle Ages. After a severe drought in Sicily, it finally began to rain. Zeppoli became a symbol of celebration and thanks in honour of our company’s namesake.
It is with these emotions that we are especially happy to share zeppoli with you today. In 1956, our founder Gaetano Gagliano started a letterpress operation in the basement of his family home. He named the company after St. Joseph, the patron saint of the working person.
And now, six decades later as a dynamic communications enterprise, we carry on our founder’s belief in the “dignity of work.” The industry has changed, but our commitment to exceeding our customers’ expectations has not. We are thankful to you – our customers – and all that you bring to our company’s rich history.
As you enjoy your zeppoli today, please know you are an important part of our annual celebration.
