February 7, 2019: Toronto Life, La Carnita and ONEMETHOD are launching 2019 with one of the most exciting events of the year
As a Toronto Life Insider, you receive access to tickets for The Homecoming, a La Carnita party hosted not in their restaurant, but in the creative studio where it all began. The event will feature an art gallery experience documenting their timeline of original Meatheads, created by various global icons of street art, plus noteworthy dishes, drinks and DJs from throughout their formative years — all hosted by Toronto Life, ONEMETHOD and La Carnita’s very own Founder, Andrew Richmond. Toronto Life Insiders can purchase tickets here.
February 27, 2019: Toronto Life proudly presents Actinolite as part of R&D Nights with Toronto Life, exclusive to TL Insiders
Actinolite is one of the most dynamic dining experiences in Toronto and was recently selected as the 4th best restaurant in the city by Toronto Life. We are thrilled to invite you to a very special R&D Night with Toronto Life at Actinolite, exclusive to TL Insiders.
Actinolite is all about following the Canadian landscape, and this means allowing the farmer to take the lead. Guests will be guided through a 5 course menu by Chef Justin Cournoyer, giving insight into the research his team has done over the last 7 years, and the way in which he plans a seasonal menu in our regional climate and finds inspiration from local farmers, purveyors, and the community. Regional cooking is the key to a more sustainable way of life, and Chef Justin will share with guests the strides Actinolite is taking to be more eco-friendly, and connected to our land, history, and culture. The meal will be accompanied by a wine pairing by Merrin McHugh, highlighting small local and old world producers making terroir-driven organic, biodynamic, and natural wines.
Toronto Life Insiders can purchase tickets here starting January 24.
