Selected from over 1,500 entries across North America at Sappi’s 2017 Printer of the Year competition, our Print Group’s work won the top prize in the Magazines-Web category for distinction in creativity, technique and technical excellence.
The annual Best Wildlife Photography issue is published for newsstands only by the Royal Canadian Geographic Society. Featuring 100 pages of magical photos from photographers across Canada, the pages are brought to life on an FSC-certified gloss stock.
“We are impressed year after year with the innovative techniques that printers incorporate into their projects. While all the submissions are worthy of praise, this year’s winners truly caught our attention with their attention to detail,” said Patti Groh, Director of Marketing Communications, Sappi North America. “Our Printer of the Year competition showcases the incredible power of print to inspire and influence purchasing decisions.”
Sappi has been celebrating printing excellence and innovation since 1999, inviting printers from the United States and Canada to submit their best work in 11 categories including Direct Mail, Brochures, Packaging and Magazines. St. Joseph Communications has earned numerous Printer of the Year distinctions, including for Audi Magazine in 2014.
