Our Media Group took home two Gold Awards, three Silver Awards and one Bronze Award at The Content Council’s 2017 Pearl Awards and Winter Conference on December 7 in New York. Our own Maryam Sanati was also honoured with the Best Content Director distinction.

We’re excited to share that our Media Group won seven Pearl Awards in recognition of excellence in content marketing, which were announced on December 7 at The Content Council’s 2017 Pearl Awards and Winter Conference in New York.

St. Joseph Media was awarded two Gold Awards, three Silver Awards and one Bronze Award. In addition, our own Maryam Sanati was distinguished as the Best Content Director at the awards ceremony.

“I’m thrilled and humbled to be recognized,” says Maryam Sanati, Editorial Director, Strategic Content Labs, St. Joseph Media. “The Content Council has always believed in great storytelling delivered with purpose, and to have its endorsement is an honour.”

Our two Gold Awards were in the Best Event category for our Sonos Playlist Potluck for Sonos and in the Fashion & Beauty category for our “Face Off with Coco Rocha” flip-book cover for L’Oréal Canada. The project was featured as one of The Content Council’s 2017 Pearl Awards “Best of the Best.”

“The FASHION cover skillfully demonstrates that there’s plenty of room for innovation in print with an in-real-life flip-book concept that masters the medium’s potential,” said the 2017 Pearl Awards Judges.

Of our nine shortlisted projects, we also won in the following categories:

• SILVER: Lindt the Season (Lindt & Sprüngli Canada Inc.)

• BRONZE: Passport/Passeport 2017 (Government of Canada)

“The awards and nominations received are testament to the creativity, journalistic approach and client-based ethos that sets St. Joseph Media and its custom content division, Strategic Content Labs, apart from the competition,” says Douglas Kelly, President of St. Joseph Media. “I am exceptionally proud of our talented team that has made this accomplishment possible.”

The Content Council is the premier non-profit organization representing content marketers globally. The Content Council’s Pearl Awards are the longest running and most prestigious content marketing awards program in the United States since 2004.
