Summary
The successful candidate will be a confident graphic designer, with a passion for content marketing and wants to participate with marketing and sales campaigns. While this self-starter holds very strong creative graphic design skills they seek an entry level role into a dynamic marketing department that will allow them to participate in many aspects of marketing. Any given day, you will curate content for social media, take behind-the-scenes clips for a 360 degree in-studio session of a national brand client, create infographics, attend launch events to experience the latest digital signage content release and lay out the design of sales decks for pitches to top brands in the automotive, pharma, retail, CPG and banking industries. This role reports directly the Head of Marketing and Business Development while taking working closely with the Digital Marketing Strategy and Sales and Marketing coordinator. It’s busy times but good fun work.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare marketing packages and presentations
  • Graphic design – signage, pamphlet design, etc required for events and meetings
  • Maintain and monitor social media channels
  • Schedule and monitor social media using social media management platform
  • Prepare creative assets for social media posts by editing existing images and videos
  • Gather and input social media analytics weekly
  • Behind the scenes photography for social media
  • Work with marketing coordinators to prep the building for tours
  • Prepare reports and maintain the hygiene of CRM tool
  • Book and organize meeting rooms for client visits
  • Attend weekly creative department meetings
  • Participate weekly marketing meetings and bi-weekly department meetings
  • Organize, populate and maintain marketing department filing system

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must provide a portfolio which clearly shows your design skill levels
  • A degree or certificate in marketing or graphic design
  • Strong Adobe Photoshop and illustrator– comfortable with the layers panel, color correction and retouching tools and have a good understanding of the use of Layer Comps are additional assets
  • Similar software knowable of CRM tools like Hubspot
  • Knowledge of video editing tools
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working with minimal oversight
  • Works well in group setting and enjoys collaboration
  • Thrives in a team environment, with the ability to work independently
  • Approachable, positive and innovative personality
