“Unstoppable” Tony Gagliano Honoured at Business for the Arts Gala

We’re so proud of our CEO Tony Gagliano, who won the Edmund C. Bovey Award for Philanthropy in the Arts at the Business for the Arts Awards Gala on November 9.

Dedicating his time and passion to the arts and city-building in post-SARS Toronto, Tony was a key player in the transformation of the AGO and the foundation of Luminato, Toronto’s Arts Festival. As CEO of St. Joseph Communications, he has helped raise awareness for the arts by committing millions of dollars in advertising space to Canadian arts and cultural organizations. “People like this work so hard at their jobs and they give a whole second career to building up the communities in which they live, you’re just amazed at this,” says Toronto Mayor John Tory in the Awards tribute video.  “And I think he does it out of a genuine love.”
