Each year, Pinterest anticipates and presents upcoming trends through its Pinterest Predicts platform. To launch its 2023 outlook, Pinterest wanted to bring the trends to life through an immersive experience for Pinterest creators.
Solution
Pinterest partnered with Toronto Life, the pre-eminent and essential guide to the places, people and cultural events that shape the city. Our events team worked closely with Pinterest to plan every detail from food and drink to immersive design and creator experiences, all of which were inspired by Pinterest’s 2023 trends predictions. Reflecting the trend to “Date Different,” the event was held at the Royal Ontario Museum newly opened Philosopher’s Gallery space. Jenna Landi, Director of Global Brand Research at Pinterest joined Malcolm Johnston, Editor-in-Chief of Toronto Life for an engaging conversation on nuances of trend forecasting and its implications for brands, providing valuable insights for the audience.
Result
Guests enjoyed a memorable experience and the conversation between Jenna Landi and Malcolm Johnston stimulated thoughtful discussions about trends and their impact on brands. The successful execution of the event solidified Pinterest and Toronto Life's positions as trendsetters and thought leaders in their respective domains.
