The nominated articles represent the breadth and depth of exceptional journalism Chatelaine is known for.
- In the Best Service Feature category, Kat Tancock's "I Switched To A Credit Union To Help Fight Climate Change," with Gillian Grace as editor and Mashal Butt as fact checker, explores the environmental impact of big banks and the potential of credit unions as a more sustainable alternative.
- In the Best Lifestyle Storytelling category, Chatelaine boasts three nominations:
- Tracy Wan's personal essay, "I Tried To Make Authentic Red Braised Pork. I Learned This Was Impossible," explores identity, family, and the elusiveness of culinary perfection, with Chantal Braganza as editor.
- Meagan Gillmore's moving piece, "Why Siblings Are the Forgotten Caregivers," sheds light on the often-invisible struggles of siblings who take on caregiving roles for their disabled family members. This story was co-edited by Erica Lentil and Chatelaine’s 2022 editorial fellow, Ayesha Habib.
- In another powerful story, also by Meagan Gillmore with Heather Graham contributing and Chantal Braganza as editor, "After More Than a Decade in a Wheelchair, I Taught Myself to Walk Again" chronicles a woman's inspiring journey of resilience and determination as she regains her mobility after a life-changing diagnosis.
- Tracy Wan's personal essay, "I Tried To Make Authentic Red Braised Pork. I Learned This Was Impossible," explores identity, family, and the elusiveness of culinary perfection, with Chantal Braganza as editor.
