SJC helps bring the PC® Holiday Insiders Report to life through an immersive shopping experience with in-app commerce

‍In a first-to-market rich-media digital publishing solution, this year’s PC® Holiday Insiders Report^TM is available directly from the PC® Optimum app.

SJC kicked off the holiday season with a special digital publishing project to help Loblaw Companies Limited celebrate the 40th anniversary of its PC^® Insiders Report^TM, the go-to destination for holiday appetizers, meal solutions and treats.

Working with Loblaw Marketing, Loblaw Digital and the Loblaw Agency to bring its vision for a dynamic and shoppable report to life, SJC created a unique digital publishing solution that for the first time, makes it available directly from the PC Optimum app and online. The loyalty program’s 16 million members can plan for holiday festivities through an immersive shopping experience that enables them to scroll, pinch and shop right in the app. The pages are animated, including rich-media assets such as an animated cover, product carousels, animated callouts, a steaming turkey and sparkling lights.

With the report integrated as part of the customer journey on the app and online, Loblaw can also now measure the effectiveness of the 40th edition PC^® Insiders Report^TM, tracking consumer engagement and conversion events over the duration of the campaign.

Building on Loblaw’s commitment to make the report fully accessible to Canadians, SJC’s digital publishing solution ensured AODA-compliance in both English and French and audio availability through the app. A PDF version is also available for download via the website.
